Submission:

Abstracts for poster presentation can only be submitted online. Once online submission has been completed, you will receive immediate confirmation of receipt of your submission from Abstract Central.

Notification of acceptance will be made within two weeks of the deadline.

Authors of all selected abstracts will have the option of publishing their abstract on-line.

 If a poster is accepted, the author will be notified and is required to be present during the viewing times at the CCCF.
*The top six abstracts by trainees will be chosen for the Canadian Critical Care Society’s oral presentation session.
(Poster display is optional for these oral presenters as they will not be considered as part of the poster competition).

Awards:

Several awards will be presented during the meeting:

• Oral presentation by a trainee (The Garner King and Alan Spanier awards and a special merit prize will be given to the top 3 presenters)
• Best clinical study poster (MD/graduate track)
• Best basic science poster (MD/graduate track)
• Best scientific poster (Allied Health Track)
• Best quality assurance poster (Allied Health Track)
