Celebrate with friends and
colleagues over dinner and drinks,
and enjoy the entertainment
provided by The Jim Cuddy Band

Featuring Keynote Speaker:
Dr. Geoff Barker

Professor of Critical Care Medicine, Anaesthesia and Paediatrics at SickKids and University of Toronto. Dr. Barker is the former Chief of the Critical Care Program at SickKids and was the Program Director of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Toronto.

From its inception in 1968 as one of the first paediatric intensive care units in the world the "CCU" has developed new treatments, shared knowledge and provided outstanding care while striving to improve the outcomes of the sickest children within the Hospital, the province and from other parts of Canada.

Each year care is provided to 2000 children with diagnoses including trauma, organ transplantation, congenital heart disease, burns, cancer, asthma, and other chronic respiratory diseases and supportive care is provided to children following major surgery. In addition, the Critical Care Response Team provides early treatment to 600 children on the wards of SickKids, to prevent the need for ICU admission.

There is simply no place quite like it.

Join us to celebrate the leading edge research, life-saving innovation, and persistent dedication that have changed the way the world practices paediatric critical care.
